Journey to Life 2009

Join us for our most popular retreat of the year! Journey to Life is held at the beautiful parish of Sacred Heart of Mary in Boulder (about 40 minutes away from St. Thomas More). It's a great weekend - fun, prayerful, and thought-provoking - that offers a great chance to make friends and get to know people better. The Journey to Life Team, composed of adults and upperclassmen, is already working hard to put together an unforgettable retreat. Fall TEC scheduled for October 23-25, 2009
An experience in Christian living designed especially for young adults age 16 to 24, TEC weekends provide space in which individuals can reflect upon their ideal, their hopes and dreams, their challenges and struggles. It provides a space to discover Jesus Christ, who is risen and alive in our midst. TEC also provides a space to begin to discover our own uniqueness as God's own creation.

Class of 2010 Graduating Seniors Retreat
January 22-23, 2010
Senior year is a terrific adventure, but also a little intimidating at times. So we'll be gathering for an overnight retreat just for the Class of 2010. We'll head over to Beau Jo's Pizza for dinner, then return to the Youth Center for fun, laughter, discussion about the future, random movies - whatever we want to do! Your senior friends are welcome to join us. Check back for more details near the holidays.
Peace Hut

Overwhelmed by all the demands of a multi-tasking world? All retreats give you a chance to get away from it all, but Peace Hut is a special weekend opportunity to live in simplicity, letting go of all the many things that don't really matter. The entire retreat is based upon the radical spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi, and is held on the Eastern Plains of Colorado (near Akron and Brush). Peace Hut is always worth the effort of going away for a couple of days.
Peace Hut is typically held for 3 days in the middle of June. Keep an eye on the youth calendars in the Spring for more information.
Freshman Retreat

Calling all high school rookies! You're diving into a new adventure in your life - are you leaving room for God? The Freshman Retreat is a perfect place to start. It's a chance to meet new friends in your class, go out to dinner together, play Laser Tag, and discover how to get the most out of the next 4 years. The Freshman Retreat is typically held in September, toward the start of the new school year. The dates will be published at the end of the summer, so keep an eye on the website and calendar.
