Peace Hut
June 6-8, 2008
Overwhelmed by all the demands of a multi-tasking world? All retreats give you a chance to get away from it all, but Peace Hut is a special weekend opportunity to live in simplicity, letting go of all the many things that don't really matter. The entire retreat is based upon the radical spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi, and is held on the Eastern Plains of Colorado (near Akron and Brush). We need students to serve on this year's Peace Hut Team! If you're an upperclassman (Classes of 2008-2010) and have been on a Peace Hut retreat, you're eligible to help lead the 2008 retreat. Team members give talks, lead small groups, plan/lead music and prayer, go out to the Huts early to set up for the retreat (always a party and an adventure!), and, above all, SERVE! Download the application below and turn it in to David by Friday, May 9th. We do have 3 team meetings before the retreat that you will need to be at, so be sure to check the dates on the application form.

Summer TEC scheduled for July 25-27, 2008
An experience in Christian living designed especially for young adults age 16 to 24, TEC weekends provide space in which individuals can reflect upon their ideal, their hopes and dreams, their challenges and struggles. It provides a space to discover Jesus Christ, who is risen and alive in our midst. TEC also provides a space to begin to discover our own uniqueness as God's own creation.

Journey to Life Retreat

Don't miss Journey to Life, our most popular annual retreat! Many kids say that JTL is a highlight of their high school youth ministry experience, and can't wait for the following year's retreat. It's a weekend full of good food, small groups, new friends, live music, inspiring talks, funny skits, and more. But don't take our word for it - ask anyone who's ever been part of JTL and they'll tell you: it's awesome!
Senior year is a terrific adventure, but also a little intimidating at times. So we offer an overnight retreat every January for the current senior class. Join us for a time of Beau Jo's Pizza, fun, laughter, and discussion about the future. Bring your senior friends. Check the calendar for specific times and dates.
