Class of 2013 Freshman Retreat

Calling all high school rookies!  You're diving into a new adventure in your life - are you leaving room for God?  The Freshman Retreat is a perfect place to start.  It's a chance to meet new friends in your class, go out to dinner together, play Laser Tag, and discover how to get the most out of the next 4 years.  The Freshman Retreat for the Class of 2012 has already happened, so look for information about the 2013 retreat at the end of August 2009.

Senior year is a terrific adventure, but also a little intimidating at times.  So we'll be gathering for an overnight retreat just for the Class of 2010.  We'll head over to Beau Jo's Pizza for dinner, then return to the Youth Center for fun, laughter, discussion about the future, random movies - whatever we want to do!  Your senior friends are welcome to join us.  Check back in the winter of 2009-2010 for more details - this retreat is usually held in late January

Peace Hut

Overwhelmed by all the demands of a multi-tasking world?  All retreats give you a chance to get away from it all, but Peace Hut is a special weekend opportunity to live in simplicity, letting go of all the many things that don't really matter.  The entire retreat is based upon the radical spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi, and is held on the Eastern Plains of Colorado (near Akron and Brush).  Peace Hut is always worth the effort of going away for a couple of days.

Peace Hut is typically held for 3 days in the middle of June.  Keep an eye on the youth calendars in the Spring for more information.
