Breakaway
Breakaway is open to all high school students (Classes of 2010-2013). Both Catholic and non-Catholic youth are welcome. Meetings are held on Sunday evenings, 7:00-8:45 pm in the Youth Center.
The purpose of Breakaway is to provide Christian, social, educational, spiritual, prayer, and service experiences to the high school underclassmen in this community. We will have a lot of adventures and great discussions!
Activities consist of talks, guest speakers, small group discussions, videos, music, prayer, games, and much more.
The U.C.
The U.C. now meets three times each month throughout the school year, from 8:00-9:30pm, on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of the month. All high school juniors and seniors are welcome to join us, both Catholic and non-Catholic. The goal of The U.C. is to go deeper into living the Catholic Christian life, through Scripture, talks, discussions, and leadership. This year we're also journeying together through a Theology of the Body study that's specifically geared towards teens. But don't worry: we know that becoming a highly mature upperclassman doesn't make you automatically boring, so we still play fun games like Capture the Flag and Flag Football.
