After school I usually sit around doing nothing but now that I can go to the Catacombs I always have fun. Sometimes I play the piano or the drums, other times I play foosball or ping pong with my friends. There are even quiet and comfy places to do homework. If I still have homework to do I grab some snacks, a cup of lemonade, my backpack and sit on one of the couches they have in the Catacombs. One of the best things they have in the Catacombs is computers. There are many computers with internet and are great for finishing up some homework. Even if you aren't a social person or an athletic person you can still enjoy this awesome, home-away-from-home (literally). It has everything a kid could ask for from an after school center.
Small group expeditions are a way to have a smaller group in ministry based around ones interests. In Middle School some of the following ministries are a part of this small group expeditions:
Catacombs After School: Do you need a place to chill and relax, get homework done, hang out with friends in a safe environment? Stay posted as we will soon be opening the doors for hang out times on Fridays.
Flicker Writers: Do you like to write? You can write articles or take pictures for our page in the More Informed.
Voice and guitar classes are also a small group expedition please see the music ministry section for more information
