Retreats are an integral part of your child’s spiritual growth!  Some of our upcoming retreats are listed below!


 

 Mountain Madness

Start thinking now of attending Mountain Madness at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park! This is a retreat for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students that is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Denver. This year’s theme is “Take up your cross and follow me” Mt. 16: 24-25 and features guest speaker Chris Padget. This retreat is held the weekend of February 12-14, 2010. Registration forms will be out soon, start planning now!

 

Events

Events with STM are a fun way for your child to get to know other kids in our youth group, and to just come hang out with us! Check out some of our upcoming events below!

 

 

Corn Maze

Join us Saturday, October 17th for a night at Chatfield State Park to experience the fall in style at the Corn Mazes. We will be meeting at STM at 5:30 pm, and eating dinner at either Chipotle or Panda Express. Then we will head down to Chatfield and spend some time at the mazes. We will arrive back at the Church at 9:00 pm.  The cost is $5.00 for 11-12 year olds and $8.00 for ages 13-17. Bring extra cash for dinner. Permission slips are located on the Forms and Registration part of the website. Registration is based upon date that permission slips are turned in. Permission slips are due NO later than Wednesday, October 7th.

 

Halloween Game Night 

On Friday October, 30th we will spend the evening celebrating Halloween in style with lots of food, games, and movies. We will meet in the Catacombs at 6:00 pm, and will spend the evening watching a Nightmare Before Christmas, playing Combat, and eating good food (pizza). All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited and the evening will end at 9:00 pm. Permission slips are due NO later than Wednesday October 28th and can be found on the forms section of the website or on the youth table.
