Apologetics

This class will help you learn how to give clear, biblical answers to the most common objections Catholics receive about their faith. You will understand and be able to explain in depth what the Church teaches about the Eurcharist, the Bible, the papacy, Mary and the saints, purgatory, confession and much more!

The laity are just as likely to be challenged by agnostics and atheists as they are evangelicals and fundamentalists.  This class will help you respond to their concerns and objections about fundamental beliefs of God and Christian faith.  We will be using the "Pocket Handbook of Christian Apologetics" by Peter Kreeft.  Topics to be covered include:

  • The Bible: Myth or History?
  • Life After Death
  • Heaven and Hell
  • Salvation
  • Christianity and Other Religions
  • Objective Truth

The class is a drop-in, so come to as many evenings as your schedule allows.  Feel free to join us even if you were not able to come to Part I.  Call Roberta 303-770-0531 x3 for questions, and if child care is needed, the numbers and ages of children by Wednesday, June 11th.
