Purpose: To assist the priests and deacons at Mass with distribution of the Body and Blood of Our Lord and to bring Holy Communion to the sick and especially as viaticum to the dying.
Activities: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist at daily, school and parish Masses. They bring communion to the sick, the homebound, hospitals or care facilities especially as viaticum to those in danger of death.
Meetings: An annual MANDATORY workshop for ministerial awareness and updating skills. Morning of Reflection for spiritual growth.
