Office of Communications & Stewardship

Mission Statement: “To glorify God the Father through the instruments of social communication; to witness the example set forth by God the Son who modeled selfless love; to enliven the Christian spirit through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; to call the community to discipleship through the practice of stewardship remaining mindful of the eskhatos (from Greek, last things).”

The Communications Office handles all the parish public and media relations and promotes evangelization, catechesis and stewardship education through various instruments of communication –– print, broadcast and cyberspace media.

The Stewardship Office works to further the education and inspiration of parishioners regarding the sharing of time, talent and treasure in gratitude for all God’s blessings. The Stewardship Office also encourages the Stewardship of Prayer, Stewardship of Vocations and Stewardship of the Earth.

Thanks to the work of this office, our parishioners have gained in wisdom regarding stewardship as a way of life, which helps make St. Thomas More a praying, welcoming, serving, giving, celebrating and evangelizing parish.

In addition, increased devotion to stewardship as a way of life has resulted in enthusiastic volunteer participation, generous financial contributions and abundant spiritual growth.
